About the Instructors

The Art of Healing Inc. Holistic Center provides a space for certified instructors to offer their knowledge in their particular area of expertise. The instructors listed below offer classes and accept reservations and payments individually. You may contact instructors directly to register for classes. Please let the instructor know if you will be unable to attend and give at least a 24 hour notice prior to class if possible. This gives instructors the opportunity to full the spot with someone who may be on a waiting list.  Be respectful of instructors, please “no shows!”  Thank you in advance.

 Jeanelle Boyer – Yoga Instructor

AOH JEANELLE PIC. JPGI began my yoga practice in 1998 with Steven Valloney, a wonderful Kripalu yoga teacher in Ithaca, NY and completed my 200 hour teaching training at Kripalu in 2007.  Throughout the years, I have been blessed with the opportunity to study with many amazing teachers, such as Shiva Rea, Seane Corn, Max Strom, Dharma Mittra, Yoganand Michael Carroll, Saul David Raye, and many others.  While I have always loved the posture practice, over the years I have gained an even deeper appreciation for the emotional, mental and spiritual benefits that arise from other yogic practices such as chanting, pranayama (breathwork), and yoga nidra (yogic sleep). In addition, yoga revealed the healing benefits of energy work, which led me to trainings in reiki and, eventually, shamanism. My yoga classes range from vigorous alignment–based vinyasa flow classes to very mindful, meditative practices. Most classes incorporate posture, breathwork, and meditation while some incorporate yoga nidra, chanting, sound healing and shamanic journeys.   I love to create a safe, loving and playful environment where everyone feels free to explore, let go, and deeply relax.  In addition to instructing yoga, I am a professor in Public Health at Keene State College and love teaching about health and wellness, with special focus on topics such as resiliency, stress management and microbiology/the human microbiome. Most importantly, I am the mother of an amazing little girl who is my greatest love, inspiration and teacher. In my free time, I spend as much time as possible outdoors-hiking, trail running, paddling, exploring, and just BEING.

Yoga with Sound Healing class is held every Wednesday @ 7PM.  Go to the classes page for more information.

Evelynn Sablone – Yoga Instructor, NOLS Wilderness Medicine Certified

AOH Evelyn yogaheadshotI began taking yoga classes about a decade ago and although I can’t say what brought me there, I can say that I stayed because I loved it and because I needed it. Shortly into my second year as a yoga student I began to consider what it would be like to be a yoga teacher and after many months of this I knew it was my dream job. Years later, with intent focus and enormous drive I began my 200 hour teacher training in both Yin & Yang styles through Buddha Nest Yoga in October 2016 and completed in May 2017. It is with great pleasure that I get to teach, with an emphasis on mindfulness and breath, yoga to both those who want it just as a physical practice or those looking for a little more.

Restorative Yoga class is held every Thursday at 7 PM. Go to the classes page for more information. Advanced registration required.
